The Quilted Hand Painted OS Earrings in black/white reference Jean Dubuffet and his sculptural work. His work is so inspiring, I spent a lot of time with his black and white Chicago sculpture from 1984 ‘Monument with Standing Beast’ when I was there studying at the Chicago Art Institute in 2005. Somehow the boldness of his line work and use of black and white came to my mind when I came to make a hand painted range of earrings.
